I had to adjust it to exclude any mention of "Mergers and Acquisitions" because the company marketing that movie was spamming the hell outta the internet and for several months I was just getting bombarded with fake news and blog articles about that movie. Since its pretty much never mentioned in any other article that I'm interested in reading, I just excluded it from the alert. Unless I missed something, bva had a very tiny part. What the heck was he? A bipolar artist, lol? What's "Tagger?" Was it his job or his name? Overall, I liked it. There were ridiculous parts, like the poetry reader with the broken neck. Then he barfed b/c he had too much to drink. I ordered it for a good price on half dot com. BTW, the bad reviews were on amazon. That's a complete assumption remembering that 2000 was a bit of a dorment year in the world of TVP which would allow time for BVA to shoot. It hit the film fest circuit in 2001 so that's where the IMBb date comes in. I saw it at the East Lansing Film Fest in spring 2002 as it was a featured film for their Michigan based film series. The director & BVA were there for the viewing and a quick Q&A after. It never saw a commercial VHS release but the DVD did come in 2006. For me I would have liked to ask BVA what it was like being in an acting role where he wasn't playing a musician, but alas I was too star struck then (I still am). Both other movies he had been in were playing musicians (Road Kill & Rock Star). Has anyone watched BVA in This Space Between Us? I have it on DVD but just haven't watched it yet. The IMDb reviews are really bad so I just havent ventured at it yet. I had trouble hearing it though on my cheap laptop. When was it actually shot? IMDB says 2001 and the copyright on the back says 2006. bva seemed natural in his role. I understand his brother's friend Isaac in the movie is the one that always said, "I love you man" from Wayne's world. I'm glad that some other people appreciate artwork as much as I do. Good quality artwork really can be so valuable to an album and really add a 'wow factor' to wrap up a project. I LOVE the art to the Family Album. It's worth buying it just for the artwork. Hopefully, I can have a chance to pick up a copy of Best of 3 soon. What merch have TVP had recently at shows? I get a lot of people to come that don't know Brian yet and so cannot put too many rarities on the list so I'm always trying to balance it out. At least with having a fair bit of them, I can slip in one or two rare tunes each time and I've gotten some of them played over the years.
