Three Rivers setlist 2-12-2010
Posted Monday, February 15, 2010 at {ts '2010-09-07 21:03:00'}

hey all! Saturday was a great show at a fantastic old theater in Three Rivers, MI. The band had Joel Ferguson filling in for John on bass who couldn't make it and the horn section as well which made for a neat cover tune! All You Need is Love by some UK group from long ago, it was catchy, possibly the only hit they ever had?!?? Wink

Oh, and a Dewey sighting no less!, so I have finally met the legend, I know I owe this gent a beer or three for all the great recordings he has shared with us but on this night we behaved as we both had long drives after the show.

note, crushed Rice Krispies on stage makes for a slick surface, but made for some styling dance moves by BVA and Griff with some female that was pulled up on stage to play tambourine during Happiness.

I believe The Beatles tune was practiced tonight as it was played for the kids show the next day in Grand Rapids, I'll post that in another topic!

cheers!

I tried making my own thread on Sunday, but this board kept failing after I "previewed" it, so I gave up. Nice meeting you, Todd. Recording is up on the archive.

I don't want to make my own thread, so I'll jump into yours Smile

The setlist was similar at Ram's Head on Monday, 2/22, except I remember hearing Cup of Tea. There were some older vp songs that I was unsure of the name (songs from I've Suffered a Head Injury.) Should have taken notes and I should have taken my dvd recorder. In the past, that venue was strict on pics or recording, so I did not want to make waves. Now I'm sorry because I loved their performance (my first Verve Pipe concert.) Also, I wanted to dance but we had to remain seated at our table.

Come back to MD, please.
