Who is Brian Vander Ark

Brian Vander Ark is a singer-songwriter from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is - or was - the lead singer and principle songwriter for the 90s band The Verve Pipe, who had a few marginal hits and a Billboard #1 smash hit in 1997 called "The Freshmen". Check out the video for that here, maybe you remember it.

Although The Verve Pipe never really broke up, and they still play the occasional festival show, it seems unlikely that they'll ever do anything more than that.

Brian ventured into his solo career with the release of his first album "Resurrection" in 2003, followed by "Angel, Put Your Face On" in 2006, and the self-titled "Brian Vander Ark" in 2008.
